Welcome, Mary!

We are always very excited to add a new face to our VBS team!  Please join me in welcoming Mary Carlisle to the VBS blog!
If you’ve been to CentriKid camps, (or just read their blog!) you may already know Mary!  Since August 2009, she has served Lifeway as a CentriKid Camps Specialist. Prior to that, she served as a summer staffer for CentriKid and also as the Children’s Minister at The Crossroads Church Belforest, Daphne, AL. Mary comes to KMP highly recommended. She has excellent leadership and editing skills that will serve her well in this new assignment.
Here are some fun facts about Mary:

• She loves love art and painting, and using it as an outlet to encourage and minister to others. She’s had the opportunity to do a few paintings for families who are in the adoption process and have gotten to walk alongside them as they seek to bring a child into their family.
• She loves to brainstorm!
• Mary is passionate about discipleship, specifically equipping parents to disciple their kids at home; leadership, teaching, art, and running.
• And last but certainly not least, Mary revealed she was a Majorette in high school. “Yes, think Miss Congeniality…twirling fire… high boots… what a mess.”
