Christmas Parties & VBS – a Winning Combination

In case you haven’t noticed — the Christmas rush is on!!! Christmas decorations are up, great holiday snacks are being brought to the office daily, and party planning is in overdrive!
Speaking of parties, who are you inviting to attend the Christmas festivities at your church? How about the unchurched families discovered during VBS?
Christmas is the perfect time to dust off that stack of VBS registration cards and invite the unchurched children and parents who attended VBS. Invite them to the special worship services as well as the parties. A postcard invite is nice, but a personal phone call or visit is even better.
Being intentional means never missing an opportunity to reconnect with the families who attended VBS, and Christmas is a perfect connection point. Christmas parties and VBS – a winning combination!
