How to Include Music in Your Virtual VBS
Churches are looking for creative solutions to do VBS in unprecedented circumstances. We at Lifeway VBS want to make sure you have everything you need to do VBS in whatever creative way you choose. That’s why we’ve partnered with Lifeway Worship to make sure you’re able to use the VBS 2020 music during a livestreamed or prerecorded Worship Rally this summer. There are THREE easy steps for you to take advantage of this offer.
1. Check with your church leaders to see if your church already has a streaming license through CCLI. (Note: This is a different level than just the basic CCLI license. If your church has been live streaming worship services for a long time, you’re probably already covered.) If you don’t already have one, click HERE to obtain a Streaming License from CCLI.com.
This license will cover more than 300,000 copyrights you may want to stream.
2. Include the VBS songs in your church’s next CCLI report. (This is something your church should already be doing regularly. You’ll just need to make sure the person who does the reporting includes any VBS songs you used.) For more information about online reporting, visit CCLI’s guide HERE.
3. Complete this final step ONLY if you plan to use Facebook as your delivery platform. This step does not apply to Virtual VBS videos on YouTube or your church’s website. Send an email to Carol Roundtree at carol.roundtree@pmgsonymusic.
