Help! I Don't Have a Disc Drive!
Disc drives are rapidly disappearing from computers, making it difficult for many people to access the files needed for VBS. While CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, and Enhanced CDs have long been a part of VBS, they’re increasingly becoming an annoyance, if not a hindrance, to preparation. So you’ll see quite a few welcome changes this year aimed at making things easier for you! You’ve already heard that Enhanced CDs have been replaced in the Bible study leader packs this year. But what about those other products with discs?
You actually have a few options. The first is to purchase digital downloads instead of an actual disc. For example, did you know that all music & choreography is available for digital download? No CDs or DVDs needed! You can get individual songs or buy the entire album. Each video bundle includes the instruction, demonstration, and performance choreography videos; lyric videos; and music videos. (Note: Music is protected by federal copyright laws and may not be duplicated, uploaded to a website or social media platform, or burned onto discs and distributed.) You can also get the Worship Rally daily drama videos as a digital download without needing the Worship Rally DVD Set!

Option 2: it’s the cloud to the rescue! Any VBS products with CD-ROMs or DVD-ROMs that are NOT available for purchase digitally will have a redemption code printed in the guide and on the disc’s faceplate with instructions to download the ROM files from an online cloud storage. That way you’ll always have access to the printable helps, presentation files, art files, or video files on the disc. Music/choreography files may only be redeemed ONE time. All other files may be redeemed up to THREE times. So make sure to download the files to your computer, so that they’ll always be there when you need them.

I am curious about vbs material for 2020. Does Lifeway allow unlimited music copies for a church?
Some curriculums allow this… I just wanted to ask what Lifeway allows/doesn’t allow.
Hi Carmen! Under federal copyright law, our music cannot be duplicated and distributed. However, we offer multipack bundles of CDs that make it more affordable to gift every child or every family with the VBS music.
Is there a downloadable powerpoint destination dig background that I can add our dates to and use in presentation at church?
Yes! You can find that on disc 2 of the Worship Rally CD Set … along with ready-made PowerPoint presentations or all of the pieces to create your own. Additional backgrounds are available on the Decorating Made Easy DVD-ROM.
