We had a great time at Ridgecrest. I hope Johnathan and Emily will be joining you at Fort Worth. They brought the VBS music to life. I’ve been attending preview for at least 10 years at Rigdecrest and have enjoyed all the breakout sessions that I have attended over the years. Keep up thw GOD. Work.
Looking forward to a great event. I was not able to attend VBSI in Fort Worth due to family conflicts, but have the opportunity to attend the preview this Thursday/Friday in the Nashville area. I am looking forward to the breakout sessions and have seen the time schedule, but am wondering if a final schedule of which sessions are being offered at the different time frames is available as I try to make travel plans. Thanks so much for all you are doing!!
Opening session begins at 12:30pm on Thursday. Then there are 3 breakout sessions back-to-back at 1:45pm, 3pm, and 4:15pm. We will end Day 1 with a Pep Rally (main session) at 5:30pm then dismiss for dinner. Friday morning there are 2 breakouts at 8am and 9:15am and then the closing session is at 10:30am.
Great event in Hendersonville this weekend. Appreciate the hard work put on for Game On!! One question, could u give the website of the couple who led worship. This couple led was the best you have had in the conferences in years!!
Would love to have instructions for the stage setting used at vbs preview event. I prefer it over the one in the book.
All of the art is on the Decorating Made Easy DVD-ROM. For the giant sports balls, we used art in the clip art folder: Logo_Ball_1, 2, 3, Megaphone, Drum (there are others too that we didn’t use, but you could). We pieced together pieces of foam to create HUGE sports balls. You could use cardboard, foam, or whatever is on hand and brace them from behind. Project and trace the images and then cut out. Paint whatever colors you choose.
The art for the vinyl banners is in the “Theme Art” folder. We used the following filenames: Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Baseball, and Track. Open the “advanced folder” to get to the illustrator files. They’re a horizontal format, but we cropped them to fit the vertical format of the banner. Our banners were 6’x12′ so we built a file for those specs and then pulled in the art. It’s landscape art, not vertical, so just move it from side to side within the parameters of the banner until you found a placement you like. Any commercial printer can print them for you.
Can you still purchase a zip drive that has the countdown clock on it and how do I do that? I heard they were sold at the jump start events.
