One picture of a beating heart and you guys are all over it. Way too easy. And I thought Clue #1 was impossible? Lifeway’s VBS team will need to dig a little deeper if we think we can fool the readers of this blog. You really know how to jump to the heart of the matter. (Possible pun intended.)
Of course, maybe we have dug a little deeper and the clue is more impossible than it may seem at first glance. Impossible Clue #2 is sure to shed a little more light on the subject and take you to a whole new level of guesses.

A clean heart? His eye is on the sparrow, – could be anything.
I never can guess these but I always enjoy the big reveal.
I’m with Susan. 1 Peter 1:22 makes sense. But then again, maybe I’m going the easy route.
I know this is way off the wall, but with the “inventions” comment yesterday I was thinking something from the past. Then with the horse gallop noises and that bearded dude, my mind immediately went to a Medieval theme. Guess I have Monty Python on the brain. Weird train-of-thought, I know…
I think it has something to do with the word TRUTH.
Romans 10:10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.

Yesterday – heart, “Good Combination” (the word “AND” in Psalm 24:4-5 speaks to the combination) and the eyes (said something like Christianity Virtue)

Truth of the clues is always revealed in the smallest details, and a sparrow is pretty small.
A frontier theme. Working on a ranch in Texas, getting dirty. Being cleansed of our sins and receiving a new heart. Becoming a new creation in Christ.
The puzzle clue is EARTH. Creation, Noah, Olympics. Can I get any more random???
The crossword puzzle answers all have to do with old VBS lessons.
The blue boxes spell “truth” when you’re done.
I believe theme is “Power in the Blood” “Jesus washes away our sins. Jesus shed his blood for us to wash away our sins. We have a clean heart.

Yesterdays clues that I picked up were: A Desperate man, the man who 1st did a heart surgery, A good combination…a good combination a deparate man needing a heart transplant.
Today’s clues: TRUTH, Mockingbird, a doorbell, a horse, A man in need of a bath….cleansing? I can’t get what the person says and the other sound sounds like an elevator?
So with all that, right now I’m sticking with Psalm 51:10 so far.
Clue #1 -Beating heart, good combination (man and wife), left/right ventricle,s x-ray with ribs/heart
Clue #2 – dirty, crossword puzzle words: character, upside down, wedding, musical notes BEG, visitor at the door
At this point I’m leaning toward the life of Hosea as a picture of God’s unfailing redemptive love, Adam and Eve and God’s plan for mankind. Definitely think it has to do with a couple. But I could be WAY off base, it’s only Tuesday!
For a clean heart just open the door.
My guess is that the theme will be Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you: bind them about your neck; write them on the table of your heart. My reasoning is that mercy and truth are a good combination. We haven’t seen a “mercy” clue yet, but we have seen truth, heart, and a good combination.

Leaning more towards Ezekiel 36:26 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

My first thought was “Mission Possible” but can’t figure out the heart and sparrow? Can’t wait for the reveal!

My thoughts on the day 2 clue – The crossword spells truth, There is the mockingbird and in the puzzle the only clue that did not fit with the past was “God’s love is always there.” The title sequence has the 0:07 so I am guessing that has to do with the verse
