VBS Spotlight: Leadvale Baptist Church
As summer nears, we’re getting so excited about highlighting your VBS experiences that we couldn’t help but go ahead and share one!
Leadvale Missionary Baptist Church, in White Pine, TN, near my hometown of Morristown, TN, always creates amazing VBS sets, and then shares them around the entire community, including the country church where my dad is a pastor. This is a wonderful mission of the church.
This year, they pulled out all the stops in time for associational training and I thought you could use some inspiration and fun as you’re in the midst of VBS prep! Great job Leadvale!
Of course, remember that whether your decorations are big or small, it’s how you love your children that counts the most!
Enjoy:

Leadvale Missionary Baptist Church, where these photos were taken, is in White Pine, TN not Morristown, TN that is where our association’s office is. Just a location correction.
Bethany Brown says
Mark I’m so sorry, you are right! In my head, I had it phrased like, “near my hometown, Morristown” but it just didn’t come out that way on screen and I didn’t catch it! I definitely know the difference as when I lived there I teetered on the edge, living in Morristown, attending church at Witt Baptist church in between, and then visiting lots of friends in White Pine. My bad! Thanks for correcting that! I’ll go in and fix it now.

Thank you so much Bethany for posting these photos of our VBS decorations! God has truly blessed our church with an amazing pastor and members who love the Lord and VBS! As we prepare for our VBS each year, so many times I find myself thinking about who will it be this year to receive Christ as their Savior and who will have seeds planted for future harvest for Gods kingdom! Its these thoughts that really inspire, revive and motivates us to keep this ministry going at our church and in our community! May God bless each VBS this year as we “Journey of the Map” and share that Jesus needs to guide us ALL!!!

Looks amazing! What did you use for the roof on the hut? We are doing the same theme and I am thinking of using hula skirts but wondered if there are better options 🙂
Jerry Wooley says
Hula skirts is the quickest and easiest.
