Getting Closer…Impossible Clue #4
Wow! Now I’m more confused than ever (and I know the theme)! The two big clues yesterday seemed to be space and ocean yet we have already had those themes – StarQuest and Ocean Odyssey – so it is a mystery. Oh yeah, we have had the mystery theme before as well – actually twice: Kingdom Caper and Agency D3. So what am I left with?
Actually, a few of you are getting close – just not close enough. As one of my grandfathers would have said, “this dog don’t hunt.” Hmmmmmm, could that be a clue? Maybe. Maybe not.
So before I find myself chasing a rabbit again, here is Clue Number 4. Watch carefully, there just might be a Pop Quiz afterwards. Didn’t you hate pop quizzes? I always seem to have studied the wrong content.
In case you have not already done so, be sure to set an alarm and join us here at 1:00 PM CST Monday, June 2 for the live theme reveal. Until then happy guessing!

Rachel says
Some kind of explorer theme
Beverly Smith says
road trip all over the world. God is with us wherever we go.
Olivia Norman says
I like that idea. I know VBS has done AWA in the past but it would be cool to do something like a world travel theme. It could be an ultimate race around the world that required running, flying, sailing, racing. I don’t know maybe I’m just dreaming.
Seth says
These clues are harder than even LAST year.
Noe says
Maybe it’s a safari theme. It goes along with the explorer theme.
Patrick Robertson says
The olympics will be in Brazil in 2016.. So Matthew 20:16 ?? Some type of road trip/race. God loves, God cares, God knows, God is with us wherever we go??
Lisa Howard says
Only God knows the number of hairs on our head, how long our lives will be, and what’s in our hearts! Can’t wait for the reveal!!!
Paula Smith says
Australian Outback – adventures, maps, etc. The Kangaroo Express train
Pony Express – taking the message everywhere….by land or sea

Traveling the world, with God at yourvside
Roxanne Geiger says
Around the world.
Leisa Bentley says
I think it is God knows everything we have to trust
Roxanne Geiger says
I’m starting to think it’s a recap of past themes. I’m seeing clues of ocean odyssey, big apple adventure, rambling road trip the ranch, star quest, and boomerang express.
Jerry Wooley says
I too have seen references to previous themes. So what might a combo theme look like? Wild idea!
Donnie says
Science theme
Sheryl Land says
A farm theme
David Anderson says
What about a market theme with the Fruits of the Spirit. Flows out of our hearts? Just a guess.
Charlotte says
I am more confused by today’s clues. I was thinking an exploration theme yesterday. Wow! What could the next clue be?
Can’t wait.
Jerry Wooley says
You all are doing a fantastic job. Keep it up. One more clue tomorrow and then on to the big reveal on Monday. You really know how to look for the smallest detail – because as you know, the theme is in the little details – not the obvious details.
Elinda says
Creation Lab theme
Julie Lester says
Exploring the scientific mysteries of God
Marie Valle says
Perhaps a school/learning theme. Something about questions kids face.
c hawkins says
Only God Knows 🙂
Kandi Greer says
Seeking out the truths and facts
Brenda says
Some type of Australian Aussie sauce type theme
Rachel Webb says
An explorer or discovery theme. Also noticed signals/stations.
Katie says
Game show type theme with the questions and answers? Seems like we have already had road trip/ around the world- ramblin road trip and AWA
April Book says
I think it will be some kind of pop talent theme like the Voice, or a Niagara Falls winter training theme.
April Book says
Ok… not sure if my last comment posted, so I am trying again.
I think it will be a pop star theme like The Voice or a world wide reality show contestant finding his/her hope in Jesus.
Cathy says
Well, so much for star wars idea! I do like the science idea! Maybe creation oriented.
Stephanie Hale says
The clues all seem to point to different Bible stories. I’m wondering if the clues are more about the content vs. the theme. Day 1’s clue had coordinates that point us to Jerusalem. So a Jerusalem marketplace theme. And today’s clues show reference to fruit. My 9 year daughter believes it is a country theme. Looking forward to Monday.
Patrick Miller says
I’ll try to keep this short. I’m guessing space themed. The four locations in one of the clues (mount of olives was very clever by the way if it is in fact a space theme). The FM radio waves in the next one. I will also guess that A.I.A in the next clue stands for Alien Invasion Adventure centered around the verse in 2 Peter about us being aliens in a foreign land. The last one was hard but I will say the walking boots remind me of someone walking on the moon. I really thought it was farm themed but I’m certain (well, almost) that it is space themed. I hope you enjoy reading my crazy idea.
Jenifer And Barry Miller says
Its impossible to guess!
Patricia says
Journey through oneself with God!!
Patricia says
How about.? A look inside with God
Chris Conrades says
I think the bible studies will be based on Psalm 139 and teach the kids that it does not matter where we go, God is always there ahead of us. My daughter thinks the theme could be about exploring or treasure hunting.
JoAnn says
Down under or Safari theme.
tammy says
God’s Amazing Grace….an amszing race around the world to 5 location with God leading the way. With Isaiah 30:21 as the verse.
Taylore says
There is so much to decipher though.
I really am not sure.
But I am going to say after looking at all the clues so far I’m thinking something to do with following Christ.
God’s Plan for Our Salvation
We can look here, there, everywhere…getting busy with everything around us (Norway, Canada, the Ocean, and Israel…locations) but we need to listen to the Holy Spirit and God’s calling…follow him–He is our home. We do not need to live in the past but reflection/reverse( look at the past to see what God has done.)
God knows us, sees us, loves us and longs to have a daily relationship with us…wherever we go.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38, 39 NIV)
Maybe traveling everywhere to spread the good news God’s Plan of Salvation.

What will you do on the day of reckoning, when disaster comes from afar? To whom will you run for help? Where will you leave your riches? Isaiah 10:3
Maybe something to do with end times…or days of distress and/or in need.
Who are we going to turn to, what have we put our faith, hope, and trust in…?
Where are we headed…going…do we have hope and do others have hope? The answer is to turn to Christ…put our faith, hope, and trust in him.
Treasures in heaven (Matthew)
A treasure quest adventure…traveling or a trip around the world looking for where we have stored up goods…instead the only thing we should do…store up treasures in Heaven-advancing the kingdom of God
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:20-21
The right thing to do…follow Christ!!
Or one more…water theme.
Aai
Aquatic adventure Incorporated
So much info to look though…can’t wait though!!!!
Deborah Roberts says
I think it is a traveling to different farmer’s markets around the world.
Stephanie Harris says
I think it is some kind of Amazing Race theme
sharon says
I think it will have the idea that we are fearfully and wonderfully – he knows the very number of hairs on our head; God is always with us – we can go to the highest heights or the lowest valley (depths of the ocean) and He is always there…..
D says
I agree and think it’s along these lines also.
Becky Rose says
Those were starfish, sea stars, or diatoms around “Question #1”, and a canopy (cans of peas) around Clue#2. I have no idea what the fake silver (not gold) apple at Clue#3 meant. Also, the feet at the end were making tracks or treading, and at the end of the previous video, we were directed to think about FM radio “waves”. So, I’m going with Job 9: 8-9 for this one:
He alone stretches out the heavens
and treads on the waves of the sea.
He is the Maker of the Bear[a] and Orion,
the Pleiades and the constellations of the south.
I keep coming back to Brazil. Brazil’s flag contains the southern constellations in the night sky over Rio de Janeiro.
Becky Rose says
Oops, the “canopy” was around QUESTION #2, and the apple was onscreen with QUESTION #3.
Nancy says
Coordinates are for Israel, Norway, Mariana Trench (deepest place on earth) and Lake Ontario waterfront. GPS = God Provides Salvation. HIS on rocket= He Is Salvation. 1000,000 follicles on head. God knows how long every thing lives. God was there when our body in and out was formed. Just as each snowflake is unique, so are we His unique creation. FM=Ferdinand Magellan, explorer, Spacecraft name, GPS devise name. Not only did he sail around the world, he spread the Gospel too. The one thing I can’t figure out is who the lady at the end of the Magellan clue is. It passes way too quickly! The cans of peas could relate to God spreading the stars as a “canopy” across the sky. Still working on the 2.1 miles on the GPS directions. Love, love, love trying to solve puzzles.
Nancy says
OOPS! I meant 100,000 follicles on the head.
kimberly green says
Hard to determine but was thinking…..
God is in control, no matter where we are in the world.
I was thinking about Mexico or South America.
Maybe in line when we did the 7 wonders of the world.
Cheryl says
FM, Hope, Fate, Running in Snow, Joy. But how do I put this as an anagram??? I’m going to have to go with a puzzle theme.
RJ says
I think it has to do with an Australian theme.
Eric says
There was an “HIS” and “aia” in one of the videos that is certainly an anagram for Isaiah. Also the Guy in the painting kept saying “I say uh”.
