Zip Track of the Week: Discovery Lab

What kid doesn’t like to experiment and learn through discovery? Teach kids who God Is while involving them in awesome experiments in the Discovery Lab. The Discovery Lab will help kids reinforce the concepts they are learning in Bible study by conducting experiments. Each session includes a Warm Up or team building activity; an Introduction or object lesson introducing the concept of the session; two Experiments; and a Debrief to bring it all together.
Zip Tips for the Discovery Lab

• Provide inexpensive safety goggles and disposable gloves for the authentic scientific experience.
• Give kids small journals to record their observations and new discoveries.
• Be sure kids dispose of materials properly at the end of each session.
• Allow kids to experiment with different variables as time allows.
