December Is a Time to Celebrate!
On November 21, 2011, Keith posted a blog about me celebrating 40 years of service at Lifeway. He also told the entire world that he was born in the year I came to work at Lifeway. But that’s not exactly true; I came two years prior to his birth. (Actually I was employed part-time at Lifeway in 1968, became a full-time employee in January 1969, and quit for two years in November 1982 when my youngest son was born, making my adjusted hire date as November 1971. But then, that’s a story for another time.)
Well, in the short time that the Lifeway blog site has been in existence, Keith already has shared many sides of himself in his blogs. But I’d like for you all to know a little more about him—the side of him we see every day at work.
He is the devoted husband of Kim.
He is a dedicated father to Sadie.
He is a master of many trades.
He is a valuable coworker.
He loves VBS and is willing to do whatever it takes to make it a success.
And he is an all-around fun guy (usually).
He is also my brother in Christ and someone I am proud to call my friend.
All that to say, tomorrow Keith is celebrating a milestone—40 years of life. Please don’t miss this opportunity to wish him a Happy 40th Birthday! Who knows? Maybe someday he’ll be at Lifeway for 40 years, too.
