Foto Friday. . .Boeing 314 Clipper

Hi everyone, I hope your week is faring well. It’s always interesting every week as I try to figure out what I would like to post about. I hope you have noticed that I like to change it up and do different things. 😀
If you read last week’s Veterans Day blog post, you will know my love of the military. If not, here’s a recap below!
I’m not sure if I have shared this with everyone on the blog but I LOVE airplanes! ! !  I grew up in a Navy family. My father was in the Navy for 21.5 years and we were always around airplanes. He served aboard several aircraft carriers (one of them was an old-timer aircraft carrier from WWII) and flew on P-3 Orions, among other duties. I grew up around and near the bases, so we always saw the airplanes/jets/birds (as I like to refer to them) flying overhead. I absolutely LOVE air shows.
So, with that in mind, you can imagine my excitement when we landed on Amazing Wonders Aviation for 2012! The Boeing 314 Clipper had the beautiful 3 fins on the tail wing and we knew that that was the plane we wanted to use.
