I Feel Like Santa Claus

This morning my office looked a lot like the scene from Miracle of 34th Street when Postal Service employees delivered millions of “Dear Santa” letters to the judge.
While we haven’t hit the million letter mark, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of VBS 2011 Reports flooding into my office by mail and FAX. I sure hope your church report is one of them.
To report your VBS 2011 (whether you used Lifeway’s VBS curriculum or not) do one of the following:
1. Ask your pastor or church secretary for the personalized VBS Report Form that was mailed to your church from Lifeway Christian Resources last week. We mailed out over 46,000! With this form you can either fill it out and mail it in or use the provided user name and password to submit your report online. Instructions for submitting your report online are on the form.
2. Find your copy of of the personalized VBS Report Form for 2010. The user name and password remain the same year after year. With this information you will be able to enter the Southern Baptist Directory Services system and report VBS 2011 online.
3. Find a generic copy of the report form in the Big Apple Adventure or Club VBS Beach Blast Administrative Guide for Directors. Instructions for mailing or faxing your report are on the form.
4. Send a request to [email protected] and I’ll be happy to send you a copy.
For those of you requesting recognition as a Standard VBS you will need to send the application and checklist (found in the Administrative Guide for Directors) to the VBS Promoter in your State Baptist Convention office.
