Looking for the mole . . .
I’m trying to find who is sending Donny these clues, so I did a little spying today over in our publishing area. . .
Melita is a VBS content editor, so it’s probably not her, but she looks a little guilty, don’t you think? Donny kind of got off on the wrong foot with Melita last year, so I don’t think she would be sending him clues.
It could be Keith, one of the VBS graphic designers – but he’s been pretty busy getting next year’s specialty items designed . . .
Or maybe Gordon, another VBS graphic designer? He and Donny met last year when Donny was pretending to be an IT guy. Hmmm . . .
Pamela says
Are we going to Japan???
Pamela says
are we going to Italy perhaps? or to a Rockstar California Studio? This will be interesting and I love the music and the hints you give us for next year. I cant wait.
Lenora says
It would be neat if it were speed racing ….

In the first photo there is a framed portrait of Jim Henson and Kermit. Jim Henson lived in NYC and Sesame Street is set in NYC. Plus there is an apple on her desk–“The Big Apple”.
In the second photo there is what looks like a small book or DVD cover that has a picture of a taxi cab on the front that is laying on a stack of papers.
In the third photo there is small souvenir sculpture of the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building on the top shelf.
Did I miss anything else? NYC here we come!
Lenora says
I had noticed the apple and the taxi … but because of Donny’s attire my first impulse was Aviation or Speed Racing.
Annica Cook says
Lenora,
I did a search for “aviator goggles” and “Empire State building” and discovered that Viator Tours is the group that runs the observation deck at the Empire State Building. Plus, many people take helicopter tours of the city.
Sheila Gleaves says
Could we be doing a “Hot Air Balloon Festival – Soaring with Jesus?”
Lenora says
Try doing a search for New York State Fair … wikipedia (I think) had a general description.
GLENDA says
Check out the picture on the wall in #3? Strong man?
Lenora says
Not sure, but I think the sketch in picture #3 is from the movie “Mulan” ….
Adrienne Gwinn says
There is something that looks out of place in each picture. Pic #1 the books entitled G-Force on the bottom shelf, Pic #2 the winged dragon and in Pic #3 a sheet of paper beside the mug. In big green letters it says “This is it” and then there are 3 letters beneath, but I can only make out the last one for sure…a “w”. Put it all together and you get….?
Karen Denny says
We noticed the double decker bus in both video’s (lower left on the floor). Also, there are letters that change in the background of each video…First video I, B, A, P, and H; second video G, E, P
Hmmmm…….waiting for next video……..
Tracey-Ann says
Could the theme be “Life School Musical”? Sounds corny I know, but that’s the best I could come up with :-}
Brittany says
There is no H in the first video, it is a decoration. The letters spell out “Big Apple”. ( FIRST VIDEO – I, B, A, P,) (SECOND VIDEO – G, E, P, L.) It’s definitely something with NYC!!!
Beth Rich says
I think it would be great to have an American Idol-type theme so we can talk about false idols and the one choice “Christian Idol” This could be very exciting musical style to reach and teach!
P.s. We could vote sins off day by day!
🙂
whadaya think?
Liz Veal says
I am thinking “Big Top-Circus”, Coney Island, or New York State Fair.
Kathy O says
I (heart) JC

Ron Moore says
Hot Air Balloons?
angela salyers says
I believe the theme will be centered around scientists
Ariane Thomas says
We think it will be Coney Island in New York City. We just had a wonderful VBS week this past week with our kids and I cannot wait to tell them next year’s theme. Already working on ideas.
sherry says
My husband and I are guessing “The Worlds Fair” theme.
